This energy recovery unit required a very short height which did not allow for a traditional MAS multi-row plate heat exchanger. The Diamond configuration was used instead and OA bypass was included in the center with the option to include recirculation if morning warmup is needed. The short height makes this a very limited selection in Daikin Tools, MAS ended up providing the final filter rack, both coil banks, and the direct drive plenum fans with VFDs, in addition to the sensible plate. As a result, this type of configuration would push competition to a custom manufacturer. No specials from Daikin required on this design.
